Job Description

Terre des hommes is seeking a highly skilled Programme Coordinator to join our team in Kabul, Afghanistan. As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our humanitarian assistance and protection programmes in Afghanistan.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programme strategies and plans in alignment with the delegation strategy and plan of action.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programme proposals, including technical approaches and staffing structures.
  • Coordinate with donors and partners to secure resources and support for programme activities.
  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of programme implementation, including monitoring and evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and other partners.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in management, social science, international development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in programme management, design, and development, preferably in humanitarian and conflict-affected countries.
  • Proven experience in people management, including leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, with Dari and/or Pashto an asset.
