Finance Manager (Operations)
to lead our financial operations and ensure regulatory excellence.

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of all financial operations for LasPay's EMI & MSP business, managing branches, agents, liquidity, reconciliations, and compliance. You'll drive financial accuracy, optimize cash management, and maintain the highest standards of regulatory reporting to Da Afghanistan Bank (DaB). This is a critical role for a growth-stage fintech transforming digital payments and remittances in Afghanistan.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including reconciliations, liquidity management, and transaction monitoring across all branches and agent networks
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support business growth and operational efficiency
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and manage all reporting requirements with Da Afghanistan Bank
  • Implement and optimize financial systems and operational processes
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external stakeholders
  • Develop strategic financial insights and support executive decision-making
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong proficiency with enterprise financial software (QuickBooks or comparable platforms)
  • Advanced analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership and talent development experience
  • Superior communication and professional relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or professional certification (ACCA, CPA)
  • Experience with regulations, tax legislation, and international accounting frameworks
  • Proficiency in financial systems implementation and process optimization
