Anesthesia Technician

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies before and after surgeries
• Assist the anesthetist in administering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs
• Monitor and document patient responses during procedures
• Maintain sterility and follow infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines
• Ensure the availability of emergency drugs and equipment
• Check anesthesia machines and monitors for proper functioning before use
• Safely handle and store all anesthesia-related drugs and materials
• Record anesthesia care data accurately and maintain confidentiality
• Respond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies
• Provide support during patient recovery from anesthesia
• Participate in regular ward rounds and shift handovers (night duty)

• Diploma or degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related health field from a recognized institution
• At least 3 years of experience as an anesthesia technician in a hospital or surgical setting
• Familiarity with anesthesia equipment, medication, and safety protocols
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
• Strong understanding of patient safety and IPC principles
