Leads enterprise-scale data architecture and engineering initiatives, designing robust data ecosystems that support complex AI/ML operations across multiple classified and unclassified environments. Opportunity to work on real-world projects that directly impact warfighter capabilities and mission success. Help write the policy that will influence how the department tests and evaluates AI across the joint force. Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement enterprise data platforms and infrastructure
  • Lead design of complex data integration solutions across multiple data sources
  • Optimize data processing workflows for high-volume, low-latency requirements
  • Establish data governance frameworks and quality assurance processes
  • Mentor mid-level data engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering and DevOps
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategy and roadmaps
  • Implement advanced analytics capabilities and real-time data processing solutions
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of data engineering experience with increasing responsibility
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
  • Expertise in distributed computing frameworks and big data technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and performance

  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into

  • Experience with classified environments preferred
  • AWS experience highly preferred but not required
  • Military experience strongly preferred

In accordance with state law, candidates in jurisdictions such as CA, CO, WA, NY, and others where applicable, will be provided a good-faith salary range upon request and through the hiring process.   This is a full-time, exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and is not eligible for overtime pay.
