Overview
As a Test Automation Engineer specializing in pytest, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary objective is to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts needed to verify our applications meet high standards of quality. Positioned within the Development Team, you collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to integrate testing at every stage of the development lifecycle, driving efficiency and reducing time to market.

Responsibilities

• 1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using pytest frameworks to ensure optimal software performance and reliability.
• 1. Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define test strategies and integrate automated tests into the development and deployment cycles.
• 1. Monitor test execution and report on test results, ensuring quick identification and resolution of defects.
• 1. Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes, and tools to align with industry best practices.
• 1. Provide mentorship and technical expertise in test automation to junior team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1. At least 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation using pytest.
• 1. Strong proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Preferred Requirements:

• 1. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• 1. Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins.
• 1. ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
