Regional Food Security and Livelihood Expert

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our food security and livelihood initiatives. As Regional Food Security and Livelihood Expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing programs that promote sustainable agriculture practices, improve food access, and enhance the overall well-being of rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective food security and livelihood strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
2. Provide technical assistance and training to local stakeholders, including farmers, community leaders, and government officials.
3. Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of our interventions.
4. Collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for capacity building and resource mobilization.
5. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to donor guidelines.

Requirements:
1. Master's degree in Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in food security and livelihood programming, preferably in conflict-affected areas.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
5. Proficiency in English and Dari, with strong writing and reporting skills.
