As a B usiness Operations Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.
Our Nutmeg team is at the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. We're looking for people who have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By their nature, our people are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects - and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to move between them.
Job requirements:
We are looking for a Business Operations Associate to ensure the key operational and trade support processes are completed, documented, analysed, and improved in line with business growth. We are looking for someone who is, proactive, keen to learn, hardworking and up for the challenge
Job responsibilities:

  • Providing trade support for the trading team by perform pre and post trade checks
  • Trade matching and settlement
  • Monitoring and maintaining customer account trade instructions and cash allocations.
  • Managing stocks and shares ISAs, General investment accounts, Lifetime ISAs, Junior ISA and Pensions
  • Dividend processing
  • Escalation point for client service team and point of contact for investigations into client account history
  • Supporting product development by working with software developers and product managers
  • Improving processes
  • Reporting (FCA Transaction reporting, US regulatory reporting etc)

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Extensive interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders of all levels
  • Proven ability to analyse, amend and document processes and procedures
  • Excel knowledge
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Critical thinking

  • Ability to drive organisational change
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple business units within the organisation to effect change
