Our Engineering team is organised into three squads to better support our product development and to allow for strong collaboration with our designers and PMs on discovery work. We're hiring for a senior software engineer to join our mission and to create product features to:
- Ensure learners on our platform receive a great learning experience seamlessly integrated to their day to day tools and environment.
- Help managers and technical teams in our customer organisations have an easy onboarding experience, and allow them to plan, create and deliver impactful training content to their workforce.
- Bring together data from end user behaviour and our customer's systems, and use human input, AI and automation to deliver the most appropriate and effective training to the right people at the right time.

What you'll do:
- Build features that allow customers to deliver content across multiple channels to increase end user engagement
- Enable the delivery of more personalised and timely content by building relevant integrations, and features that allow smart targeting and personalisation within the eduMe platform.
- Be an active participant and owner of squad processes and proactively improve them
- Work on scaling our our product and infrastructure to be used by millions of users in highly varied contexts
- As a senior member of the team, you will be required to take responsibility for more complex projects and challenges
- Support and mentor other engineers in the team
What you'll need:
- Significant and relevant experience as a Senior (Full Stack) Software Engineer
- Strong engineering and problem solving skills
- Experience with Typescript, NodeJS, React and SQL databases
- Experience writing well-tested code
- Experience working in agile product teams, and a track record of improving work practices in a team
- A desire to solve challenging problems together with your colleagues
- Experience and interest in mentoring other team members
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Ability to participate in-person in team and company activities in London (approx 2 days per week).
We'd be particularly excited if you have:
- Knowledge of good DevOps practices
- Experience with any of Github Actions, Terraform, AWS and Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience in using generative AI in product features
- Strong end-to-end test automation experience
- Experience scaling software systems and optimising performance in a systematic way
