MOO set out to shake up the world of print back in 2006. And we've come a long way since. Today we're a 400 + strong team (we're thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes – from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.

Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you'll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.

In the role of Head of Product at MOO, you will be instrumental in guiding and shaping the overall product strategy and its implementation across various platforms and teams that work closely with our Operations teams.

Bringing together the digital world of software with the physical world within operations, your remit will extend across the whole system.

This position is at the forefront of our physical product creation, improvement and launch processes, demanding a blend of tactical insight, operational excellence, and strategic foresight, jumping between soling today problems and using that insight to inform out future.

You will streamline product launch processes to grow our print and branded merchandise product range. You will also enhance operational workflows to be more efficient and optimiseshipping to drive initiatives aimed at reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Oversee product development teams' product management across two technology platforms, ensuring seamless product management and operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for our new platform's Order Fulfilment Network, handling product onboarding and coordination with third-party vendors and launches.
  • Support the internal manufacturing team responsible for our in-house fulfilment and evolution of manufacturing systems
  • Lead the Manufacturing and Shipping (MaSh) team on our existing platform, focusing on cost reductions across postage, labour, and materials.
  • Create alignment with the eCommerce Head of Product counterpart, working on the customer experience, to create and launch products quickly across various sales channels.
  • Influence the evolution of our team structures in collaboration with engineering.
  • Product Strategy and Execution: Accountable for the successful execution of product launches, establishing them as a streamlined and efficient value stream.
  • Ensure the integration and alignment of product data via the Product Information Management (PIM) system and our fulfilment network across MOO.
  • Drive the transition from legacy to new platforms, facilitating the merge of internal manufacturing and MaSh teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Enhance operational processes and reduce costs, particularly in shipping and product launch procedures across both of our technology platforms
  • Implement in-house and outsourced product development strategies, including drop-shipping of products globally.
  • Collaborate with our Operations team to implement a robust customisation strategy, supplier network and systems to support the management of our stock and inventory
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business teams across MOO to ensure product launches are fast, repeatable, and self-serve.
  • Coordinate with other technology teams to align product development with company technology infrastructure and goals.
  • Goals and Expectations: Streamline the product launch process to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive the transition of work from our existing technology to our new platform, optimising team structures and processes along the way
  • Achieve significant cost reductions in manufacturing and shipping operations, regardless of technology platform

About You:

  • Proven experience in product management, particularly in a technology-driven environment.
  • Experience working in a role where your customers are internal.
  • Experienced Line manager of other Product Managers, strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor other product managers.
  • Deep understanding of operational processes, particularly in manufacturing, shipping, fulfilment or supply chain.
  • Experience in managing product launches and operational cost reductions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities.
