Following our $40 million Series B funding led by global venture capital firm NEA, known for investments in Databricks, MongoDB, and Elastic, we are seeking creative and innovative individuals to help us shape the future of Snowplow.
The opportunity:
We can help our customers execute AI on customer data much more effectively, if we can design workflows and functionality into our product that enable our customers to more easily and more effectively govern their behavioral data as part of managing that data, something they are already doing today.
We already provide tooling that makes it easier for our customers to define the data they want to collect and put that live, and manage and monitor the quality of it. But there is a lot more we believe we can do to make the data easier to manage, to help compliance officers understand what is being collected and how it is being used, and to help different stakeholders at our customers discover the data and then use it to power next generation data applications, including genAI powered applications.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive this development.
What you'll be doing:
● Lead our designers, researcher, customers, prospects and companies that are trying to use customer data to deliver on these use cases (e.g. personalization, recommendation, segmentation, dynamic promotions, dynamic pricing, product analytics, root cause analysis, fraud detection etc.), to understand their challenges
● Use that understanding to develop a roadmap, and test that with that broad set of stakeholders
● Drive the delivery of that roadmap in collaboration with design and engineering
● Support our commercial teams (product marketing, marketing, sales, customer) so that they understand why we're doing what we're doing, and are successfully marketing, selling and supporting customers use this technology to solve their problems
● Collaborate with our customers to understand how it is working for them, and iterate it accordingly
What we're looking for:
● Passion and experience working with data. We're looking for an individual who cares deeply about data, is excited about the rapid evolution of the data space and is keen to play an active role shaping it. (5+ years of experience working in data)
● Passion for and experience in product management, esp. product management for data-related products and applications. (5+ product management experience.)
● Comfortable delivering results with a fully-remote geographically distributed engineering team
● Desire for hire autonomy high impact work environment, and in agile startup environment
● Strong communication skills
● Track record of using data to inform your decisions and build consensus
